The fourth annual Littoral Press Poetry Prize is now accepting submissions! Here’s what you need to know:
First place: 50 letterpress-printed broadsides of the winning poem.
Three honorable mentions: earlier Littoral Press broadsides.
$10 entry fee for 1-2 poems, $5 each additional (may be previously published).
Maximum length: 30 lines.
Mail check & poems to P.O. Box 3226, Berkeley, CA 94703, postmarked by 8/15/11.
Include a separate cover sheet with your contact info & title(s); do not put your name on the poems. Poems will not be returned.
Final judge: Brian Teare.
Results will be announced at littoralpress.com by 9/30/11, and the winning entries will be posted.

About the judge: A former Stegner Fellow at Stanford University, Brian Teare is the recipient of poetry fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts, the MacDowell Colony and the Marin Headlands Center for the Arts. He’s published three full-length books—The Room Where I Was Born, Sight Map, and Pleasure—as well as the chapbooks Pilgrim and Transcendental Grammar Crown. On the graduate faculty of the University of San Francisco and Mills College, he lives in San Francisco, where he makes books by hand for his micropress, Albion Books.
