The Gregory Brothers incoming to EMU campus November 28th. That’s one week after thanks giving. They will be “speaking” in the Student Center Grand Ballroom, their performance begins at 7:00pm. The Gregory Brothers, of auto tune the news fame, are sure to brighten a dreary November with their unique comedy.
Hear Creative Writing Undergraduate students Nick Compton, John Farmer, Chris LeBlanc, G. Matthew Mapes, Elizabeth Mikesch, Jonah Mixon-Webster, and Brenna York read their work when The Temporal Arts Collective presents Tilting Time: An Evening of Contemporary Poetry, taking place Wednesday, January 25, at 6:00 p.m. in the Halle Library, room 300 (note: this is a room change due to flooding on the first floor of the Library).

Mandatory New Grad Student Orientation
(all grad students encouraged to come)
Friday, Sept. 9th from 4-6 pm.
The first hour will be in Pray-Harrold Rm. 421 and will be a Creative Writing specific orientation; the second hour will be a general English Dept orientation in Pray-Harrold Rm. 301. Later on that evening, all graduate students, faculty and lecturers are invited to Christine Neufeld’s home for a Back to School Party. See your e-mail for details.
Mark your calendars for Friday, Sept. 10th, 4:00-7:00 p.m. Come to Mark Jefferson Rm. 101 for Creative Writing Program Orientation followed by General Orientation for Incoming Grads. These two meetings are mandatory. Please bring your questions and concerns!
