Don’t forget: the Graduate Creative Writing Showcase is today, Wednesday, April 13, at 4:30 P.M. in the Student Center Kiva Room (Room 360).
Join graduating M.A. creative writing students Andrew Powers, Tom Boersma, Jesse Eagle, and Joe Sacksteder as they present their cognate projects. Andrew will present a zine authored by Julian Broadleaf, one of the characters in Andrew’s novel Panacea: Notes from the Inner Room; Tom’s project includes a “sonnet box” paired with photography that undermines the concept of photography; Jesse will present a series of cross-genre short stories; and Joe will play some hilarious tracks from his album, Fugitive Traces, which are sound poems based on the audio commentary of Werner Herzog.
The BathHouse Journal will also give a short presentation for the recently released 8.1 issue and a preview of 8.2. This event is free and open to the public. Take a break from the end-of-semester rush and drop in!
