The deadline to Narrative magazine’s Winter 2009 story contest is almost here: MARCH 31.
The contest is open to short shorts, short stories, essays, memoirs, all forms of literary nonfiction, and excerpts from longer works of both fiction and nonfiction. Prizes are $3,000 (First Prize), $1,500 (Second Prize), $750 (Third Prize), and $100 each for ten finalists. All entries will be considered for publication.
